About the Garland Bar
The Garland Bar Association (GBA) is an association of lawyers, primarily those who either live or practice in Garland, Texas, but its membership is open to any person licensed to practice law in Texas. It meets once a month from September through May of the following calendar year. Most of its meetings are with the members and the judiciary who are asked to speak about the practices and procedures in their Court.
The meetings take place the first Thursday of every month in the evening. Normally, the Garland Bar meets at Eastern Hills Country Club at 6:30 p.m. The atmosphere is relaxed, so members and judges get to know each other much better than in other settings. Participants receive one hour of CLE credit.
